Counting down

Trang and Kim Long and I went to breakfast today and I learned that the texting code Trang taught me actually goes way back. It is called the Telex code, and was used back when people still sent telegrams. Not much else to report for today. I had a pretty uneventful day, just trying to get lesson planning out of the way in preparation for next week. Yesterday Trang told me that in Vietnamese they have a saying when you get a cold:
If you see the doctor you will get well in one week; if you don't see a doctor, you'll have to wait seven days. Here's hoping I don't have to wait that long.
